I was shocked to find something out today. There’s a hidden world inside of Netflix that they WANT you to see… if you will look hard enough for it.
I stumbled across the Netflix Tech Blog today and it was an eyeopening experience. As a small business entrepreneur, I often borrow from the playbooks of multi-billion dollar corporations and harness the power of their work for my little corner of the world.
This blog that the engineers at Netflix have put together gives you a complete look at how they do EVERYTHING… well, everything worth knowing about for business.

My research began with wanting to know how I could improve my thumbnails on YouTube, as well as this Clubhouse site, to increase visitor/viewer engagement. What I got was SO much more.
Take a look at this article as an example: Artwork Personalization at Netflix

If these guys and gals can spend so much time and brainpower on something as seemingly benign as cover art for their programs, why are we small business owners putting such little thought into how our customers and potential clients experience what we do?
I welcome you to dive deep with me over the next few days into looking at how Netflix engineers their customer experience for optional results.
After seeing this level of granular thought by Netflix, the question I am asking myself now is “How can I supercharge my own processes to create a more personalized, more engaging, and more impactful experience for my own customers (i.e. YOU)?”
